Far West Restoration Engineering Restoration Engineering, and Project Management. RogerLevanthal has acquired unique experience in ecological restoration/environmental engineering projects as the project manager or lead engineer for several major tidal wetland and creek restoration projects in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento San Joaquin Delta. He has an academic background in hydraulics and water resources coupled with practical experience in applied engineering and construction. He has evaluated restoration design alternatives, successfully negotiated permitting requirements, prepared plans and specifications and supervised field construction of some of the largest and most successful restoration projects on the West Coast. Through his project experience, Mr. Levanthal has demonstrated expertise in analysis and design of seasonal and tidal wetlands and the concepts of natural creek restoration. In November 1997, he was appointed as a member of the Bay Conservation and Development Commission Design Review Board, primarily to provide guidance on engineering design and construction in ecologically sensitive areas around the San Francisco Bay margin. |
